Appointments
You can book an appointment online from this website. You may also call your local studio to book an appointment over the phone.
We do accept walk-ins. However we recommend that you book an appointment to guarantee your spot. Just because we accept walk-ins does not mean that we can always accommodate them.
For your first session we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your appointment so you can fill out a New Client Intake Form and learn more about your session from our Sweat Techs.
Infrared sauna sessions are typically 30 minutes in length. Infrared lymphatic rolling sessions are offered in 15, 30 and 45 minute increments.

Due to the fact that the length of our sweat sessions are designed with your wellness in mind, we are often unable to accommodate late arrivals, as doing so would require us to shorten your session (or that of the client after you.) However, if you know that you will be late, please call us as soon as possible and we will do our very best to try to accommodate you. Please be aware that late arrivals may be subject to a fee, or the loss of one membership session.

Infrared sauna
CYL Infrared Studio is a luxury infrared sauna and lymphatics studio. Clients can enjoy sweating in the serenity of their own personal infrared sauna pod in a private sauna suite. In locations that offer infrared lymphatic rolling (aka infrared lymphatic drainage or massage), clients can roll their bodies from head to toe while being guided by instructional videos.
We are all exposed to hundreds of chemicals a day in the air we breathe, the items we touch, what we apply to our skin, and what we eat and drink. Not all of these chemicals can be processed adequately by the body, nor can an endless amount or number of them be handled at one time. Some are even poisonous to the point of damaging critical parts (such as liver enzymes) that are supposed to detoxify our bodies. By incorporating infrared sauna session into your weekly routine you can help your body rid itself of these devastating toxins.
Infrared light is part of the Sun’s invisible spectrum of light that has the ability to penetrate the human tissue. Infrared heat therapy uses these infrared light characteristics to heat the body directly rather than just the air.
Pregnant women cannot use our infrared sauna (although its safe after the baby is born!). If you have a chronic condition that makes you sensitive to temperature, we recommend checking with your doctor before booking a session. We recommend checking with your doctor if you have recently had an injury and/or undergone surgery of any kind. If you have hemophilia we do not recommend sweating. If you are on any medications please check with your doctor (especially if you are on blood thinners). If you have been advised to stay away from heat or have any concerns regarding medical conditions, please talk to your doctor. If you have had an abdominal surgery, tummy tuck, c-section or breast augmentation, consult a physician prior to using an infrared sauna to ensure that it is approved for use. Please remember we are not medical professionals.
There are no major risks associated with sweating for individuals with average health.
If you have had an abdominal surgery, tummy tuck, c-section or breast augmentation, consult a physician prior to using an infrared sauna to ensure that it is approved for use.
There are many benefits of using an infrared sauna, including removing harmful toxins from your body, pain management, stress relief, immunity support, workout recovery, lower blood pressure, reduction in symptoms of depression and anxiety, weight loss and others.
Metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves and thus are not heated by this system. Nevertheless, you should consult your physician prior to using an infrared sauna. If you have had an abdominal surgery, tummy tuck, c-section or breast augmentation, consult a physician prior to using an infrared sauna to ensure that it is approved for use.
Infrared Saunas are a healthy weight loss solution without exercising. Infrared Saunas burn 400-600 calories in just one 30-minute session. Using our infrared sauna, a moderately fit person can sweat one pound of sweat in a 30-minute session; the equivalent of running 2-3 miles.
Infrared saunas have been proven to aid in weight loss by heating your core temperature to induce sweating. Increases in blood flow and heart rate are a result, which, much like moderate exercise, has shown to help you lose weight. Saunas also help you lose weight by easing aches and pains associated with weight training, helping you get back into the gym the next day.
A traditional sauna uses wet or dry heat to warm the air around you, which induces sweating. This can aid in weight loss, but it has shown that the weight loss is mainly due to loss of water – or heavy sweating. An infrared sauna heats your body from the inside out, which allows you to stay in the sauna longer and increases your heart rate. Infrared sauna use results in more calories burned in a shorter period of time. Furthermore, Infrared heat allows for most of the far infrared wavelength to be near 9.4 microns, which is the level at which the human body absorbs infrared energy. This is also the frequency at which a water molecule resonates or vibrates. This vibration causes a release of cellular toxins. This optimal micron output also allows for deeper penetration of far infrared heat, which improves weight loss efforts.
Yes, and this will be regained upon hydration. But the calories you burned are real!
This is different for each individual. We recommend 2-3 sessions per week.
It could take up to an hour. This is normal and is part of your body returning to its regular body temperature (one plus is you are still burning calories after you sweat while this cool down is taking place). This is why we don’t recommend taking a shower right after your session ends.
This deep layer heating causes blood vessels and capillaries to dilate for better circulation. This red pattern is you being able to physically see this process. It will typically go away on its own within a few hours.
Pure Sweat is a sweat amplifying cream used to intensify sweating, increase circulation / vasodilation, speed up warm-up time, accelerate caloric burn, release built-up toxins, and fight muscle fatigue. Using Pure Sweat during a sauna session and during workouts can substantially improve circulation, energy, and sweating, activate slow to respond areas and accelerate warm up and recovery time for a more effective sauna session or workout. These effects help to bring the skin’s own natural nutrients to the surface while flushing out unwanted impurities.
Applying Pure Sweat to problem areas that are slower to respond (such as upper thighs & hips for women and stomach & the sides of waist for men) activates circulation for better results.

Due to liability reasons, only those who are sweating can be in the room during sauna sessions. We also cannot have children left unattended in the lobby at any time for liability reasons. Please make alternative arrangements for childcare if you will be coming in to sweat.
Rules vary by studio location. Please check with your local studio location to verify policies.
Please consult with your physician. We do not offer any medical advice.
During your sweat we recommend that less is more. Feel free to sweat in your birthday suit if you are comfortable with that. Otherwise we recommend a swim suit, or bra and underwear. Please make sure that the clothing is free of plastic or any metal- ie bras with underwire or swim suits with metal eyelets.
We recommend wearing or bringing loose fitting clothes for after your sweat session. We suggest bringing plenty of water to remain hydrated but we also sell Flow water in the studios. We also provide towels to towel off with after your session.
Please make sure that you are hydrated and have eaten a little something. We advise against sweating on an empty stomach, but also not arriving immediately after a heavy meal.
Drinking plenty of water is a top priority. We want you to feel your best. Our bodies need plenty of water to function optimally. When you sweat during and after your session, your body uses water to flush out toxins and other waste, the more water you have to use, the more productive your sweat session will be. It is also important to replenish the water your sweat out!
Our standard session is 30 minutes. Some studios also offer a 40 or 45 minute session (Super Sweat), this is the longest a client is allowed to sweat per day. If you make a session too long, your body has to work harder than it really needs to, without an increase in benefits.
We feel the pod is much more comfortable. You will be laying down on a thick memory foam pad that emits infrared, while a retractable infrared dome is above you (but does no cover your head). You are able to breathe room temperature air which makes it more tolerable while still getting the benefits on your face. Clients who suffer from asthma and other respiratory issues are able to use the pod when they wouldn’t be able to use the box. The session time is shorter because it doesn’t take as long to heat since it is a small space.
While some of our studios have showers to use after your session, we actually recommend not showering immediately after your session as you continue to sweat out toxins for an additional 30-60 minutes after your session ends!
Yes, we provide clean towels and sanitize all surfaces with a non-toxic cleaner after every session. Infrared light also kills all bacteria and any airborne germs or fungus. Many medical devices are actually sanitized using infrared light. We pride ourselves with keeping a clean and healthy environment.
The first 15-20 minutes of your sweat session will feel warm and cozy. Most people feel extremely relaxed, maybe even sleepy. The last 10-15 minutes of the session are more challenging. In that time, your heart rate will likely increase and you will notice that you are sweating much more.
Immediately after your session you may feel like you just finished a workout, however 30 minutes later you will feel refreshed and rested. You may feel a boost in your energy and mood. Oh and get ready to sleep like a baby that evening! Keep in mind- just like a workout some sweats will feel better than others.
Be sure to replenish the water you sweat out during your session. We recommend waiting 30-60 minutes before showering and putting on any lotions, liquids, creams, etc. until your pores close up.
Everyone is different and this is also true for sweating. We all sweat different amounts. For most people it takes a few sessions to acclimate to the detoxifying process. Also, the more hydrated you are the better you will sweat.
No, but it is a great way to recover and show your body some love post baby.
Most clients find that they do not feel claustrophobic during their session. Your head is out the entire time and you can push the pod down to as far as you need to to feel comfortable. If you are claustrophobic, please share your concerns with us, and we will do everything we can to make sure that you remain comfortable during your session.
Many of our female clients find that sweating is a great way to help reduce cramps and balance your hormonal balances. However, please keep in mind that sweating may increase menstrual flow, so if you already experience heavy bleeding, you may not want to sweat on your period.
Please check with your doctor prior to sweating if you are taking any medication.
The melting point of silicon is far higher than the temperature of our infrared beds, so sweating has no effect on them. However with that being said, please reach out to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Many clients who suffered from migraines find that regular sweat sessions greatly improve their condition.
Many clients who suffer from allergies, have reported that their allergies are lessened as a result of regular sweating. Please talk to your doctor if you are concerned in any way.
If you are sick, please remain at home, rest and recover and we will see you in the studio when you are well again!
Please contact your doctor before using an infrared sauna.
We do not allow the use of any oils (or lotions, or creams- besides Pure Sweat) because we cannot guarantee that the ingredients will not react with the heat and cause you harm. Please make sure your skin is clean of any products prior to your sweat session.
We use a non-toxic cleaner after each sweat session. We also replace all towels, so your sweat doesn’t touch anyone and you don’t touch anybody else’s.
Infrared lymphatic rolling

Their shape is uniquely sculpted to mimic the fingers of a masseuse, allowing the roller to target the lymphatic system.

You will start at your feet and work all the way up to your arms, ending with a few minutes of free roll to roll any areas you want to go back to focus on.
Infrared lymphatic rolling gently and effectively stimulates the Lymphatic System which reduces workout recovery time, breaks up muscle tightness & knots, helps to shape and contour the body, reduces fat tissue & improves the appear and reduces cellulitite, decreases bloating, improves skin elasticity, increases circulation, eliminates toxins & other waste products, aids in digestion, helps to speed the metabolism up, and much more.
For the very best experience, we recommend fitted leggings, joggers, or other workout pants free of exposed zippers or buttons and socks for a smooth surface for the individual sculpted wooden dowels to roll across easily. We also require our clients to remove watches & jewelry, tuck in any loose clothing and put long hair up so as not to get caught in the rollers.
It’s a colorless fluid that travels through your lymphatic system, which is found throughout your body.
Fascia is a thin layer of connective tissue under the skin that surrounds muscles. It’s largely responsible for the shape of our bodies. It is supposed to feel pliable and elastic but sometimes it thickens and feels rigid, creating knots, pain, tension, and thickness, which impedes the body’s full range of motion, and actually causes a “shortening” of the muscles. Your fascia is incredibly malleable and, with regular ILR sessions, can become smooth and more elastic, making your legs and thighs look longer!
No, rolling before exercising can help improve flexibility and performance during workouts!
